Dinner in White.
Dinner in White was a flash mob event we happened upon one evening in Gendarmenmarkt Square. "Diner en Blanc" was founded in Paris in 1988 when Francois Pasquier invited a group of friends to an elegant outdoor dinner, asking them to dress in white so they could find each other. The event has grown worldwide spanning six continents. Diners who have previously signed up are given the location the day of the event and bring their own food, tables, chairs and tablecloths to a temporary dining setting, typically an iconic urban public space.
